Odd

Yesterday was an odd day. Kind of ordinary, kind of unsatisfying for me. Evie and Scott did a lot more.

Scott organized and rearranged the garage so we can fit the trailer in next week (!)
Evie and I recorded her lines for the next HP installment (book 3, chapters 10 & 11), she likes to listen to them while she runs.

I flitted on the computer tried to read, flitted some more.

Evie and Scott went to Aikido, Evie came back giddy as usual.

Here are some places I flitted:

Pandora - Mumford and Sons (love)
Zero Tuition College
Schooling the World I ordered the film and downloaded the discussion notes, wanna come over?
Earth Calendar
Darell Hammond: If We Don't Let Our Children Play, Who Will Be the Next Steve Jobs? (read ALL of Hammond's blog posts)
Food Science - Hulu

Fuzzy brain this week.

Jen - I read your blog faithfully. I would love to come & chat about Schooling the World. I've been thinking a lot about this lately. What does it mean to be educated? What did my mom's life mean eventhough she was only a "house wife"? I recently heard on NPR talk from Africa about how the children need to learn more than traditional ways and I find myself thinking "really?". Yes! I'm in!!
