Here is what we saw:
This is one we couldn't identify. A
friend thought is might be blue cohosh,
I couldn't confirm that.
Trillium
The aforementioned
friend also identified this one as Twinleaf . . .
. . . and this as Siberian Squill
Fiddlehead fern
Looking at the ground . . . lots of things happen there.
Marsh Marigold
Crayfish and Equisetum (had to look up how to spell that one!)
False Rue Anemone
Yellow Trout Lily
White Trout Lily
Cut-Leaved Toothwort (Evie tells me that "wort" means common.)
Wow that was fun! We also saw a female pileated woodpecker, and were escorted on our bikes by hundreds of warblers. We will go out again soon, for sure!

Wow! Neat pictures. I've never heard of Equisetum. You'll have to tell me more about it. I'm envious about the pileated woodpecker! I've never managed to see one yet.
Wow, this is the day for me to be introduced to plants I've never seen!
We don't have any of that around here!
