Those Wacky Ancient Greeks!

Evie is still into greek mythology with passion and devotion. I remember being equally enchanted when I was about her age. I think it has to do with that transition into "emotion being" when questions of feelings and morality and understanding things from multiple perspectives start to come into play. The wild adventures of the greek gods and goddesses provide a bigger-than-life way to explore million of human interactions, the good, the bad and the ugly. We are reading myths from a variety of books (details in another post perhaps) and she has literally memorized one book which details the traits of individual gods and goddesses. The pictures are Evie's interpretations of Hera, Artemis, Icarus and the Trojan Horse. There is no doubt that I am enjoying this interest as much as she is.
