Grateful
We went to a gorgeous state park yesterday, hiked an exquisite trail, saw more toads than I have ever seen in my life and then swam for three hours. Today we are off to pick 40 pounds of strawberries to preserve for winter. We are going with 5 other families, we will end at my parent's farm to process berries and run in the woods. To do all that I have to drive less than 30 miles. We are so lucky to live in an area of plenty.
Our bread-oven will really get going today as we lay the rocks and start building the base. When completed it will be big enough to fire 3 full-sized pizzas at once. I will post pics and a description of the day's events as often as I can. I think Thursday is "mud" day and we are all excited for that!
