Father's Day

Today was sweltering church, playing at home, presents for Scott out to lunch, shopping for tennis racket and foam shoes, 3D IMAX movie of the ocean, playing "old time" farmers, tortellini dinner and stilts.

Friday and Saturday were pool, friends, baseball game, and chores.

I am rereading Little Men. I love Lousia May Alcott. I think some of my very earliest ideas about education and parenting were influenced by her work. I was overcome when I visited Orchard House in MA. It is a treat to get back to her after so many years!

Days and days well lived!
