The weekend

Saturday we worked. It was a lovely wedding in our favorite state park. They were a sweet, earnest couple with big plans--love 'em. One of the bride's best friends dressed in a chicken suit for the ceremony and all the groomsmen wore pressed plaid shirts, gotta love that!

Today included a long run for me (7 miles) just because I hadn't run that far in a long time. I still got it! Aikido for Evie. I think she may move into the dojo soon, she wants to spend every waking minute there.

Silly, exploring errands in the afternoon. TV tonight. Work day out at Mom and Dad's tomorrow, more aikido. Books, books, books. This week and next are packed with adventures with friends. Yay!
