New Oven

I would say we are exhausted, but that would be something of an understatement. Building in 90 degree heat really takes it out of a person!



Today we constructed the base for the mud oven at my parents' house. Next week we have will have 5 families helping us to build the sand form and do the actual mud. We are filming/photographing it all for the earth oven workshops we provide as part of La Fortuna .

We will also use it for large events out at the farm. It was really fun in the morning when we were all fresh and giggly, as the day wore on my mom kept us well fed and watered but we are still pretty beat.



What today did reaffirm, however, was that we love working together.
