The Real Dirt on Farmer John

I don't know how many of you are keeping track of the documentaries I am watching (see sidebar). Today I had to call attention to today's selection.

Stop what you are doing, go find this movie:

Watch this movie, and then try to sit back and continue as usual. Can't be done. You will be changed. You will do something great. Who knows what it will be?

That is so funny, I just watched this movie (for the 3rd time in the last year) YESTERDAY! Great minds and all that.
I LOVE this movie. His farm isn't very farm from me (although he travels a lot and isn't there a ton right now). He has lots of beginning farmer workshops. I just told Bri that I'm going to drive to his farm this spring.
When the old man cries and says "I just hated to see all that concrete being poured in the good land", I bawled like a baby. LOVE IT!!

Great choice. This is one we own - watch it every once in awhile. We went down for a tour at Angelic with a HS group down in that area two seasons ago - what a blast!
