The new year is here

We installed a low-flow showerhead, a dual-flush toilet, a tank filler in another toilet and we will soon needto to replace our water heater. I am hoping this can be a year of significant improvement in our home's efficiency. The days have been flying by, I feel I want to philosophize but there is so much to say and not enough time to write. We are trying to make more time to be at home, read and do projects together. Eight is an interesting age--Evie is so capable and so wanting and needing to be in the real world, but also very much needing to be at home--there are only so many hours in the day and it seems we are running out!
