Let the Wild Rumpus Begin

Last night was the performance that marks the end of circus camp. It was an exhausting week, Evie was missing over three hours of sleep every day! Her group was comprised of kids who had all been to camp before (Evie included) and who take this circus stuff very seriously. As a result, her group, according to the teachers, performed the most intricate and complicated stilt and trapeze routines ever attempted in the 7 years of circus camp. They all took our breath away. As we all cheered and hugged and greeted friends from last year's performance one mom quipped "Watch, our kids will grow up and run away to an accounting firm!" What a Rumpus!!!!!

Cool! My 5 year old saw their website a few months back and says he wants to go when he is old enough. Looks like so much fun! I loved stilts and trapezes when I was a kid (even twirled fire for shows!). Fun! :)
