Go Rick Go!

Never got back to the blog yesterday so I guess I have a lot to catch up on. Our friend Rick has reached the 300 mile mark in the Iditarod as of this morning. He is one of 15 mushers fitted with a GPS tracking unity so we are watching him in real time here. Lots of extended family are there for support and excitement during the race, you can read more and see pictures here.

Finally, there is a good interview with Rick right before the ceremonial start on the home page of dogsled.com. He is carrying 10 pounds of camera equipment for a show on the Discovery Channel that will air in October.

We are so proud of Rick and his whole family and are grateful for all the technology that allow us to share in the adventure from so far away.

GO RICK GO!!!!

The GPS technology has really made it even more exciting this year. Very interesting!
