A Quest

Yesterday morning was a blur of errands that turned into a lovely swim at our favorite indoor pool. We stopped at the library to stock up on books about knights, fairies, pixies, King Arthur, etc. We have been creating elaborate games involving quests with Evie's castle set. There is something about the classic formula of a quest that is really reaching her right now. I have any number of guesses and I am just "going with the flow" instead of analyzing. I wish we would write some of the stories down, they are quite good!

We went to a friend's house for dinner. They have a lap cat, 2 gerbils and a very entertaining bird as well as a foosball table and a trapeze (installed by Scott). We played 2 rounds of Apples to Apples, a game called Ziggity (by Cranium)and a game called Worm, invented by our friend.

I haven't been taking pictures of anything lately, maybe today--we are not planning to leave the house!
