Anyone for cake?

Today was Friday so Evie was with my parents. She baked this cake. By herself. With a recipe from her head. It is DELICIOUS!

I was sitting with Evie yesterday and we were talking about what we wanted to do. Somehow we got on the topic of what I would like her to learn from life (via home/unschooling) to serve her in whatever she wants to do. My short list was reading, arithmetic (enough to be able to figure out how to build thing that won't fall over), how to find information in a variety of different ways, how to write to commnicate clearly and how to cook. She definitely has breakfast and cake down!
