96 tubas

I kid you not, we just returned from a concert in the capitol rotunda featuring Christmas carols played by 96 tubas! Apparantly "Tuba Christmas" is celebrated by tuba players all over the world. The sound was, frankly, muddy. Too much reverb and echoes but you could feel it vibrate through your whole body and listening with hundreds of other folks while admiring the 30+ foot tall WI tree was fun.

We put up our outside lights today, Evie is making up plays with a friend, we are all putzing. A nice weekend.
