Good-bye sweet Pluto

Pluto is no longer a planet. See BBC NEWS | Science/Nature | Pluto loses status as a planet for more details. Evie is outraged, she thinks Sedna and Xena should be planets too. She was a little comforted to know that Pluto will now be called a "dwarf planet." I am fascinated that even science, the supposedly concrete world of "fact," is constantly changing in time.

Today is a notable day. Good-bye planet Pluto!
