In a haze

Woke up with a fever and completely plugged sinuses. I am very claustraphobic and I would rather be puking my guts out than have a head cold. We played legos this morning then took the cats to the vet. This afternoon we watched "The Wizard of Oz" for the first time. Evie has put on the play of Oz with her friends many times and knew the gist of the story from Carmen Sandiego. She liked it and we clutched each other through the scary parts. She went off to play with friends for the rest of the day after tearing herself away from Nancy Drew.

Following is a sweet picture of a friend Evie made at a park in Glasgow. Both girls were six, both were missing their front teeth and both were daring climbers. They laughed their heads together for several hours!
