Who were we kidding?

Well, it has been over a month since I posted. I thought I was shutting the blog down. I just didn't know what I wanted to write about.

Here it is.

I am tired of writing about unschooling. Occasionally I may have an opinion (okay, I always have a lot of those). What I want to record is what we are all doing. It is really a selfish aim. I love going back and reading things from when Evie was 6. I want to record what the heck we do each day. To that end, Each of us are going to take one day a week to blog. Maybe it will be a list of what we did that day. Maybe it will be rant about politics or emerald ash borers or a recipe for angel food cake. The point is, this is our life. I hope to "be the change I wish to see in the world" (Gandhi).

Enough with the philosophizing (although that is not out)--let's live.

Today, Evie glazed two windows. I have never done that before in my life. She is re-habing the chicken coop to be her clubhouse. yesterday I built a greenhouse. It reached 120 degrees today. The maximum outside temperature was 45 degrees.

We are having friends over to watch Dralion on DVD because it is cheaper than going to the real show, and that means we will have enough money to go roller skating tomorrow night-complete with limbo and a disco ball.

We're back baby!

Oh, whatever.
As if.
As in "Dude. This is my life. Take it or stuff it. Love it or lump it. I make no excuses... I live and breathe and Celebrate and I AM."
As if that great I AM has nothing whatsoever to do with unschooling. Or its brightest philosophies, anyway.

Dude. Again. :) (Feeling rather DUUUUDE-ish today.)
:) You so rock. Life rocks. Just Do it and Be it, Man. :D

(All kidding aside... nice to have you back, and we're here for whatever lovely thing you're ready to share with us. We totally get "the All of it".
xxoo
(If I sound like an idiot, please don't hold it against me, I'm just in one of Those Moods.)

Yay, yay, YAY! So happy you are my first comment back. We just had a hilarious discussion about the endless meanings of the word "dude" so your post is even more perfect!

Thanks for coming back!

Funny, I was thinking (a while ago) that I should post more about unschooling and less about what we are doing....
So glad you guys are back!
