Happy Summer Solstice!

We celebrated the longest day of the year by picking strawberries, heading for the pool and then out to the farm where we pick raspberries each year, for a Finnish solstice celebration complete with sauna ("too hot," says Evie), solstice pole, raspberry mead, Morris dancers, music, bonfire and fireworks (both fireflies and pyrotechnics). We are EXHAUSTED! Welcome summer!

Looks like a fun day! If we don't go strawberry picking soon, we'll end up peach picking later this season. Hope we can find a place around here since we've moved!
