What It Looks Like

Wednesday we stayed home! Eve built habitats for her stuffed animals, we played "beauty parlor" and I asked if she would really cut my hair. She did a great job. We puttered and went to a training for our new jobs at the Humane Society. Evie chose to work with all the small mammals (rodents etc.) so we are excited to get into a regular routine there.

Today we collected prairie seeds for a variety of restoration projects around the county. It is such satisfying work and it was a beautiful day. Then we traipsed off to a friend's horse barn. Evie and two friends groomed and beautified Sunny, a very sweet horse.




It is supposed to be un-Octoberishly warm this weekend. I just want to curl up and read, it is fall.
