A Lab of Her Own

Evie has always LOVED to make "potions"- concoctions that could be anything from a sleep inducing potion to a cleanser. These potions usually involve bath products, kitchen ingredients and some sort of food coloring. The upstairs bathroom has been the lab for as long as I can remember. Recently more machinery, space and supplies have been needed. Yesterday we made a lab in the laundry room. There is water, a floor drain, a work table, shelves and room for tons of ingredients. Evie organized, hammered nails, adjusted shelves and moved in. This afternoon was entirely consumed by potions. And I have a really nice new cleanser for porcelain--cinnamon and coconut scented no less!
