Animals

Evie and I spent the better portion of the day working for our usual animal rescue organization. Eight cats went home today (a record for us) and we had many more applications. So many happy families left with new animal friends. I love the work, Evie loves it and my heart just bursts with pride as she gains confidence and skills every week and inevitably someone is drawn to our area by the sight of this small girl talking so animatedly about her animals or about why a particular cat would be perfect for someone. It is hard sweaty, heart-wrenching work in the real world--amazing!
