Zzzzzzzzzz
I have never been so tired in my life! Evie is at circus day camp this week so I have to get her up at 7:00, drive an hour so she gets there at 9:00, I go to work, come back to volunteer at camp and we are usually home by 5:15. We lay around until it is semi-dark and then so to bed . . . and then get up and do it again! She loves camp but she is missing several hours of sleep each night (despite going to bed 1 1/2 hours earlier than usual) and she has a hacking cough that came out of nowhere. We are traveling next week and I really hope we are all up to snuff. I threw out my back yesterday but still have three more days of work . . . that should be interesting!
How do people have 9-5 jobs and how do kids go to away school? There is no time for LIVING--never has it been so obvious!!!

Oh my goodness! I am going through the exact same thing right now. My two youngest decided on a "pirate themed" day camp this week and I can't believe how out of whack I feel. Just rolling them out of bed every morning, even though they are glad to go, is enough to make me wonder how people do this year round with school and jobs. I'm so glad it is only ONE week for us! And glad to hear it is not just me. Let's get back to living life!
Ah...yes this is exactly what it is like...up at 6:30 to throw breakfast at them...then shove them on the bus for an hour to school...only to get them back at 4:15...throw another snack at them...pretend we have lots of time to play before dinner...then book reading...and back to sleep...what kinda of life is that, huh? One we are gladly trading in for homeschooling this next school year! YIPPEE!
