A New Emotion

This time change thing really has us mixed up! We are rarely even eating breakfast before 9:00 these days and then have been spending the whole morning reading until we are hungry for lunch. After lunch today we went to play tennis at some local courts. We had fun hitting balls and making up new games. When we got home we baked cupcakes and then friends came looking for Evie. I have to admit I was a little jealous. I was looking forward to building some planters with Evie and maybe playing in the backyard. The kiddos went off to do their own thing, we ate dinner and they were back at it. I missed her today. I can't imagine sending Evie off to school everyday, I would never see her! I am so glad she has such close friends in the neighborhood. Sometimes I do get to play with all of them, hopefully more of that to come this summer.
